At Kalpatharu Software, we follow the agile methodology for implementation of our ERP modules. We engage different agile teams to take care of simultaneous implementation of the related application modules. Each team will include developers, testers, and the support engineers. The “customization → demo → Review feedback” phase may span across several sprints/iterations and each sprint may include plan for addressing the review feedback of the previous sprints.>

Our Agile Process
Our agile teams will follow the following process for each ERP application module undertaken for the implementation and they will move on to the next set of modules upon completion and start the same process for them.
1. Identification: Identify the Stakeholders, Business Objectives, and the Project Scope.
2. Analysis: Analyse the current system, identify the gaps, finalize the scope with required customizations and establish the timelines.
3. Customization: Document, develop, test, and release the modules for demo to the customer for the acceptance. This will span across several sprints/iterations and each sprint will include plan for addressing the review feedback of the previous sprints.
4. Data Preparation: Populate the built-in master and other data relevant to the modules released and get it approved from the stakeholders.
5. End User Training: Identify the end-users for the modules released, plan the training schedule, and initiate the training.
6. System Integration Testing: Setup the Server and the Client PCs. Deploy the modules and perform an end-to-end testing.
7. User Acceptance Testing: Coordinate with the end users to validate the features delivered. Raise issues if reported any and initiate the fixes. Perform Sanity testing for every release.
8. Go Live & Support: Setup the production environment and begin the live transactions. Fix the issues if reported any, and release the fixes.

Deploying our Kalsofte ERP in an agile way translates into a range of tangible and intangible benefits:
• Reduction in overall implementation time, driven primarily by having to do less rework in the E2E testing and UAT phases
• Increase in the program’s value by 20 percent by giving the product owner enough visibility into the project’s progress to focus on high-value items.
• Simultaneous implementation of ERP modules through greater parallelization of functional (agile) teams.
• Wider adoption of the solution by end users, as they are involved throughout the implementation.
• Improvement in the agile teams and end users morale, as they see the solution implementation’s measurable progress every day.
